Mother's Day is fast approaching and we want your venue to get the best out of it! So in true #helpinghospo spirit, we have partnered with HungryHungry to help you prepare your menu and online order offering for #MothersDay.
HungryHungry's Customer Onboarding Manager, Emily has compiled their top tips supported by a useful video tutorial at each point.
1. Enable pre-ordering
Start accepting orders right up to and on Mother's Day.
* Note that activating pre-ordering is applied to the entire menu and cannot only be applied to certain items.
Watch the video tutorial on how to enable pre-ordering.
2. Turn on order throttling
Order throttling controls the number of orders received per 15-minute slot. Once your time slot fills up with orders, it will disappear and only allow your customer to select an available time slot.
This feature ensures the flow of orders going to the kitchen and drivers are kept under control.
Watch the video tutorial on how to turn on the order throttling function.
3. Create a Mother's Day deal
Create a special deal with super easy Promo Codes. Offer a free bottle of wine, dessert, or delivery with orders over a certain amount. Reward pre-orders with a special pre-order promo code.
4. Optimise your venue bio
The venue bio is an eye-catching, animated tile that appears at the top of your menu page. This is a great way to advertise your special deal and overall menu offering!
Watch the video tutorial on how to optimise your venue bio.
5. Run an SMS campaign
Run an SMS campaign to let customers know about your special deal or your pre-order function.

Although this Mother's Day is unlike what it is in the past, you can still use this special occasion to engage with your customers and allow them to treat their mothers in a different way.
